Celeteque CC Micro-Hydrating Powder Review

I've always been a powder over liquid or cream foundation girl. I thank my parents for good genes that I don't need much coverage. I remember going to work or even to blogger events with just a good powder foundation on. And one of my no-fail, go-to powder foundations is from Celeteque. This is an oldie but goody, the Celeteque CC Micro-Hydrating Powder.

CC simply means color correcting. It usually helps address redness of the face or even sallowness. So usually CC foundations have a higher coverage than BB. There's liquid version, cream and here is a powder version.

It comes in this nice sturdy compact with a mirror and a sponge. I don't use the sponge that much, because I have a favorite sponge that I use. One that is soft on the skin. :) I use sponge but apply it dry and still gives me good coverage. On days that I want a sheer coverage, powder brush is already enough.

At the back are more details about the product.

Here is the grinder for the powder. Once you twist it, it dispenses just enough powder to use all over the face. I find this to be very sanitary and to be honest, more practical. As I know I cam in control of the amount of product that goes out and there's no waste and flying powder all over. No mess!

I use the shade Light. And one of the things I noticed is how smooth and silky the powder feels on the skin. The product has silica which helps control oil. The coverage is buildable, it can go upto medium coverage.

I personally love this product a lot. It's on my top shelf! And I've already repurchased it. It goes a long way to be honest so it takes a long time to finish the whole compact. I love how it gives me fresh looking skin while covering some imperfections I need to be covered It's just okay in terms of oil control but the coverage still lasts long.

As I said, I've used this even on special events and it's a no fail product for me! There's 3 different shades, Light Porcelain, Classic Natural and Deep Beige so I'm pretty sure you'd be able to find a shade that matches you.
