KPalette Lasting Lip Tint and Cheek Tint Review

A favorite brand of mine is expanding to tints! You all know KPalette as a favorite eyebrow brand and my HG eyeliner and now they have added cheek tints and lip tints too.

Let’s start with the Lasting Lip Tint first. They are priced at P795.00 each and are housed in a plastic tube that has a doe foot applicator. Even though it’s plastic, I still like it actually. I like the frosted look of the tube and the applicator makes putting on the tint a breeze.

They came out with 2 shades that are both very beautiful and wearable, Mauve Red and Rose Pink.

The lip tints are actually very pigmented. The swatches here are from just one swipe. It also looks shiny or glossy when freshly applied but it actually dries into a semi-matte finish. Semi-matte which feels like creamy powder on the lips. It feels very comfortable on the lips, like you’re wearing lipbalm.

Here I am wearing Rose Pink. For some reason, it looks warmer on my lips- perhaps because of the normal shade of my lips?

As I said, it feels very comfortable on the lips. I really like using it because of that semi-matte feel. It moisturizes my lips just enough and gives such a nice color too.

Now obviously, they say that this is a long wearing lip tint. And you all know how I’m always on the look out for long wearing lip products. However, this, for me, was not that long lasting. It disappears when I eat or drink. 🙁 So as much as I love the texture and the formula, I don’t trust the product for very special occasions that I know I won’t be able to retouch.

The next product is the Lasting Cheek Tint. They actually first came out with three shades and then added another one just recently. They’re limited edition by the way.

They come in this small compact that also comes with a good sized mirror. It contains moisturizing ingredients such as Botanical Squalane, Water Soluble Collagen, Sodium Hyaluronate. And the size is compact enough to fit in your pocket.

The blush is creamy and very wearable. I’ve worn all of the shades and I can’t seem to pick a favorite!

The first three shades they came out with are Orange, Peach and Rose. And then eventually added Classic Red. As you can see, they have that powdery finish and are very blendable.

Here I am trying to do the Drunk Blush Look, which I have been enjoying since last December. It just looks so darn cute, right?

As the name suggests, they also claim that the product is long wearing. Well, I’ve put it to the test a few times. Here, I used it when I went on a five hour dance class. I used the shade Peach and after two classes, I was able to snap a photo. You can still see that the product is still very visible!

Please ignore the sweat. Haha! But really, this product is worth every penny. I have a few cheek tints but this, by far, has become my favorite. I wear it all the time I know I will be out and about, sweating and being active. The formula is great, it’s very light weight and well, it stays put! 🙂

So exciting that KPalette keeps on adding more and more products that we, Filipinas, can enjoy! If you haven’t given their products a try, this is probably the best time to stock up! 🙂
