Been using Essential Oils for almost a year now (if you haven’t read my post about Young Living, click here.) and I gotta say, it has really lessened our needs for commercial medicine. As a new user of essential oils, I learned that you don’t need to stick to only one brand. You can actually explore and mix different brands of eo’s together. That’s when I learned about Zellaroma.
Zellaroma, Inc. is a Filipino EO company that sources their oils from the finest producers around the world. Their introductory package is the Basic EO Kit that has 6 15-ml essential oils. Most foreign brands are expensive and take a little longer to ship out. They’re not always readily available. And other local EO businesses, ones that seldom secure FDA-registrations, do not declare the origin and cannot share proof of purity of their oils. So Zellaroma saw and aims to address that need.
Clove Bud, Tea Tree, Sweet Orange, Rosemary, Lavender and Peppermint
What impresses me is the price. The basic kit is priced at only P2,600 and each oil is 15ml. That’s a really good price! At first I intended to simply use this for my cleaning products and hand soap. But when I gave it a try, the quality is actually good. I only have the first 6 oils but I know that they just recently launched new oils!
Since I don’t have some of the oils from this kit, I used it even for our rollers and diffuser. I’ve made several blends- mixing Zellaroma to my more (much more) expensive brands, and it works just well. I find that I just need to adjust the dosage and add two to three more drops of Zellaroma oils to the other oils.
My favorite is Sweet Orange. I love the scent. It uplifts my spirits and makes me all around calm and happy. I diffuse it together with lavender to help me sleep better.
Also used Clove Bud for cold sores and it works wonders. I spot apply it directly; it’s a little painful but it really works and heals those nasty cold sores.
Rosemary, surprisingly, has also become a staple. Since my family usually gets colds, it’s important to boost immunity and also to try and heal sickness naturally first. One of my most favorite recipe blends calls for Rosemary. It has worked for me everytime.
Tea Tree, is a great anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial agent. I’ve used it for our DIY hand soap and also diffused it with other oils to clean the air around us.
Lavender and Peppermint are essentials. I think these two are some of the very first essential oils you will need in your EO stash.
I’m happy to say that so far, because of essential oils and homeopathy, Robyn has not needed any commercial medicine yet for the year. Hopefully, I pray, that she continues to be healthy. But I’m one happy mom, knowing that I’m keeping my family healthy and happy!
