Pixi Beauty Glow-y Gossamer Duo in Delicate Dew

A few months ago, I received a curated package from Pixi Beauty and Glamourbox. I’ve already used 3 of the products and have nothing but good things in mind.

In this post, I wanted to focus on the Pixi Glow-y Gossamer Duo in Delicate Dew.

This was my first face product from Pixi so I was really excited about it. It is priced at P1050 and as the name suggests, you get 2 shades in 1 compact!

Highly-pigmented cream-like texture that easily blends out on the skin once applied.

Unlike other highlighters, I noticed that this one gives that “wet” look. I guess because the shimmers are really packed, they create that foiled glowing effect when used.

The product is very silky and very blendable. I find that it’s best to apply this with a brush (a fan brush or highlight brush) but I’m sure it can also be applied with the fingers. This was one swipe using my finger.

One swipe is pretty much all you need as it is really pigmented. But you can definitely build it if you’re aiming for that Glowing Goddess feel. There’s not much fall out too. Yey!

As I said it gives that “wet” look so this isn’t something one of those subtle, barely there highlighters. If that’s what you’re aiming for, you really have to be very careful in applying.

The duo that I have is Delicate Dew which works perfectly for me! One shade has this pinkish champagne undertone- which is my favorite highlight, while the other one has a more neutral undertone.

The formula is really great! And I find myself reaching for this almost everytime I wear makeup, whether it be a regular day or a special event!

I’m just so surprised at how a simple highlight can level up one’s look. Like seriously, this is my typical- no makeup makeup. But with this highlight, it just makes everything brighter and more posh.

It goes without saying, I’m in love! I’m pretty much obsessed with it. As of the moment, there are 2 duos to choose from, Delicate Dew and Subtle Sunrise. I think the latter would look better for those with deeper skin tones or simply those that are looking for warmer highlight. I get my Pixi products from Glamoubox PH.
