Love Mary Face Serum Review

It's been a hot minute since I posted Beauty related. Honestly, I just haven't been playing with makeup as much anymore, due to the pandemic. What I have been focusing more on is skin care. I rarely put makeup nowadays, and I noticed that my skin has started to age and texture have become quite bad, which think it's also because of aging.

I was able to test our the Love Mary Face Serum from LoveMaryQC. It's developed to hydrate, plump skin, whiten and reduce the appearance of spots and fine lines and to achieve Korean Glass Skin with a potent anti-oxidant blend of Hyaluronic Acid, Citric Acid, Mandeluc Acid, Rosehip Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Tea Tree Oil and Aloe Vera Extract.

It was part of the Love Mary Skin Naturals Ultimate Set which also included their famous Rejuvenating Facial Set.

This little bottle lasted me 2 months because a little goes a long way. One thing I noticed is that it's thicker than other serums I've used in the past. It almost has a gel like consistency. It's still easy to blend and gets absorbed fairly fast by the skin.

I used it for 2 months after cleansing my face at night, prior to moisturizer. It does have a little bit of weight to it, but not heavy enough to not want to put moisturizer after. I also like the smell. It has a faint sweet scent, not overpowering and goes away gradually.

I tried to target my dryness and the worsening texture of my skin. If I have the time, I try to give myself a little face massage with it. Upon application, I noticed that my skin looked smoother right away.

Here's a month of using it, my skin is not as dry anymore. But you can still see some bumps here and there. My skin still free from zits, lines or acne. One major thing I noticed is my pores. It somehow made my pores tighter and smaller. Pores specifically around my nose and cheeks.

Here's the after result with makeup. In terms of rehydrating the skin, it does its job. My skin got so much drier recently that I really needed help in hydrating and moisturizing my face. I can't vouch for its lightening effect. I admit my skin got lighter, but that may also be due to the fact that I've been home since the pandemic started and haven't really gone out that much.

My skin got smoother to the touch. My pores also improved its appearance. However, it was not able to remove the bumps and change the texture of my skin. :(  But let me just add that my skin looks glowing and more youthful! I swear, my skin has just experienced its worst state lately, so for it to look like this, it's a big improvement!

I personally liked the fact that it's natural and is safe for pregnant and breastfeeding moms. It's also on the thicker side that helps in hydration more. It's locally made and it's quite affordable at P330 a bottle which lasted me a good 2 months (used once a day).

I got mine from ShopSui. They also carry Love Mary facial sets and so much more. Let's support local businesses, especially these times. ;)
