Taiwan Excellence Experiencing Zone

We all know that Taiwan produces tons of different products that we use almost every single day. In my house, we probably have 5 or more items made in Taiwan. Last June 3 to 5 at SM Megamall Events Center, an amazing array of products that showcased Taiwan’s superiority in product design and innovation greeted guests at the Taiwan Excellence Experiencing Zone mall event.

The event showcased how Taiwan Excellence products can complement and enhance their lifestyles.

The Taiwan Excellence Experiencing Zone is one of the activities under the Taiwan Excellence campaign, a campaign that has introduced high-quality innovative and game-changing products to the Philippines.

Undertaken by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) and organized by Bureau of Foreign Trade (BOFT) of Taiwan, Taiwan Excellence has helped deepen Filipinos’ appreciation for products that have been engineered and manufactured to the highest standards in Taiwan.

In the event, Taiwan Excellence’s brand partners joined the exhibit. Some of the brands in attendance were Acer, Asus, D-Link, Tatung, Heartway, KYMCO, MSI, Johnson Tern, and Chanson. They all have the Taiwan Excellence seal, confirming their high quality and product superiority.

The symbol of Taiwan Excellence honors Taiwan’s most innovative products that provide tremendous value to users worldwide. All products carrying this symbol have been selected for specific Taiwan Excellence Awards based on their excellence in design, quality, marketing, Taiwanese R&D and manufacturing. Initiated by the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA), R.O.C. in 1992, the symbol of Taiwan Excellence is recognized by 100 countries.

Brand partners expressed their appreciation for TAITRA’s effort in helping them in creating awareness and strengthening their visibility in the Philippine market. ASUS Product Marketing Commercial Solutions Ruemer Allan Santillan takes pride in ASUS products that embody the Taiwan innovation due to its quality and technology that keeps up with the needs and lifestyle of the consumers. 

HEARTWAY’s Supervisor at Far East Medical Jailyn Macamay, on the other hand, shared that associating their products with TAITRA gives their products a reliable impression to the public.

Aside from their partner brands, guests were also happy to have their photos taken with a happy Formosa bear mascot.

Other entertainment during the event were Conven PH, Christian Bautista, Julie Ann San Jose, Yeng Constantino.

And there also games for the guests,lead by blogger and vocalist Saab Magalona and cosplayer sisters Alodia and Ashley Gosiengfiao.

There was even a fashion show to exhibit some of the products.

“Every year, we strive to bring the best Taiwanese products to the Philippines, and this experiential activity allows people to see these things up close. We’ve made everything in this experiential exhibit fun, captivating, and different. We hope to do more projects that would help Filipinos discover how we can help enrich their lives with Taiwan’s superior products,” TAITRA Deputy Executive Director Scott Yang said.
