Hi ya’ll! It’s raining once again. Wow. No wonder I didn’t want to get married on June-July. Haha! Well I was able to shoot another tutorial that I want to share here in my blog. I’m actually quite happy that I get to do at least one look in a week. Hmm, progress or maybe it just means I’m not as busy?! I wonder. But yes, I will be doing another tutorial. It’s my Purple Party look. It’s kind of a smokey purple eye that I think would look good when going to a party, hence the name. :)
So first step is to put a base. I used Myra Tinted Moisturizer in Ivory with my Megaga Professional Foundation Brush.

Then proceed to correcting and concealing. Click here to see how I do it. Then I also use the pink corrector on my cheek pane.
Next I’m using my Revlon Photoready Foundation in Natural Beige and applied it with the sponge that’s included in the compact.

Now for my base, I used NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Strawberry Milkshake and applied it all over my lid upto the crease.

And using a purple shade with shimmers, apply the color on top of the pink base. I used LuLu Makeup’s Beverly Hills Palette in 8D.

Next is I applied a darker purple color on my crease and blended it with the lid color. I used LuLu Makeup’s Beverly Hills Palette in 10D.

Also use this on the lower lash line. I applied it just on the outer half.

And using an angeled eyeshadow brush for easier control, I applied a matte black eyeshadow on the outer v just to give depth to the eye makeup. I used LuLu Makeup’s Beverly Hills Palette in 10A.

Now for my highlight, since this would be a party look, I opted for a very dramatic highlight color. I chose a white shimmery eyeshadow. I used Lorac Sizzling Hot Collection.

Of course blend blend blend! I'm using Charm All Purpose Blending Brush to blend.

Fix the eyebrows. Again, I used my Modelco Eyebrow Powder in Dark and set it with my MAC Browset in Beguile. Now for my eyeliner, I chose to use black eyeshadow again. So I got my Megaga Professional Eyeliner brush and just sprayed it with a little bit of Etude House Proof 10 Makeup Fixer and dab it to the black eyeshadow. And voila instant eyeliner!

I then set it with the powder eyeshadow. And also used that eyeshadow on the outer part of my lower lash line.

It should look something like this:

I wore some falsies and combined it with my real lashes by curling them together and applying mascara. I used 688 Lash Extension Mascara.

Here’s the eye makeup:

And for the rest of my face, I contoured using Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse in Caramel and LuLu Makeup’s Beverly Hills Palette in B-3.

For my blush, I used a fan brush to apply it so that it’s light looking. I wore LuLu Makeup’s Beverly Hills Palette in B-5.

And for highlight, I used two highlight colors. I used LuLu Makeup Beverly Hills Palette in B-1 & B-2. I mixed them together and used that to highlight my brow bone, bridge of my nose and cheek panes. I also used Etude House Secret Beam Highlighter for my cheek pane. i applied it with my fan brush again.

Lastly, I chose a close to nude lipstick so that the focus will be all on my eyes. I used Ever Bilena Matte Lipstick in Mauvey.

So here’s the result:

And I tweaked the colors a little:

Hope you like! :)
Did you notice my new watermarks? Some twitter friends suggested PhotoScape to me to do my watermarks. Honestly, I’m still looking for a batch watermarking program if there is, but so far I think PhotoScape is a keeper when it comes to editting etc. :)
