As a first time mom, it was quite overwhelming to research and choose baby gear. So I understand the frustration and the anxiousness each new mom faces, because I personally went through that too. So I was really happy to be invited by Joie, a British brand of baby gear when they launched last month.

During the event, I was able to learn about the brand and their products. Miss Julie Ann Castro, brand manager of Joie showed us some of their best sellers.
I admit that here in the Philippines, there is no car seat law. Most people just carry their babies on their lap while in the car. I, for one, didn't feel like it was safe at all and because we don't have a yaya or a nanny, I also wanted to be able to leave my child in her car seat if I need to use my hands for whatever reason. So from the moment she was born, I have always made sure to put her in a car seat.
Joie's Stages car seat system is brilliant. It can be used from newborn upto 7 years old! That's actually a great product as it grows with your child by simply adjusting it.
Another must have is a comfortable sleeping system/ I really like Joie's Excursion Change and Rock. It's basically a complete set. There's a changing pad, mobile, bassinet, play area and it even has music and vibration to soothe your baby. It's portable that you can bring it everywhere.

Patty Laurel, mom, celebrity and blogger, also graced the event with her son, Theo. She talked about being a busy hands mom and wanting only the best for your kid. Everybody feels the same right?
She mentioned that she was overwhelmed with the things that she needed to buy for her son too and was definitely very selective on the gear that Theo uses.

So when buying your baby's gear and equipment, always think of the safety and practicality and of course which ones are worth making an investment. Because nothing is more important than our kids.
