FOTD: Sweet Lips

I received really nice feedback from the photo below. And I must admit, I liked my makeup that day too. It was actually when my husband and I celebrated Christmas. We went on a date day and ended it with a yummy buffet dinner at The Jeepney, Hotel Intercontinental Manila.

Of course I wanted to look a little bit nicer, just 'cause. Besides we rarely go on dates anymore, and it was kind of a special occasion anyways. I decided to do a full face but still kept my eyes simple because I knew we would still do some errands beforehand.

Products Used:
Face:
Snoe Hyperfunction in Ivory Beige
Snoe Poudre Extraordinaire
Snoe Parallel CC Cream in Honey
Benefit Hoola Bronzer
Monave Blush in Autumn

I look giddy, don't I? Haha!
I miss our date days when we didn't have to worry about anything.

Eyes:
Etude House Proof 10 Eye Primer
Etude House Golden Ratio Teardrop Powder #4 Gray
Elianto Eyeshadow in Soft Yellow

Lips:
Nivea Soft Rose Lip Balm
Chanel Rouge Allure in Emotive

And since I was asked how the oil control powder of the Snoe powder is, here are some photos when I arrived home. It was around 10 hours from the time I applied my makeup, retouched only once with my San San compact powder.

A little oily, but not extremely greasy. Take note that I didn't put any face primer because I was also testing out the Snoe Hyperfunction foundation that time. And Hyperfunction does not have any oil control properties. :)

So I gave this look the name Sweet Lips because the lip color is just gorgeous. Honestly, I don't find it too distracting. It wasn't a bright lip color, rather it's a toned down pinkish red shade that just works any time of day. I'll do a complete review on it next time. :)
