Hawaiian BBQ Grill

Normally, the gifts that I give my husband are not really material things. Everytime I ask him what he wants, he always say nothing. He’s pretty contented with what he has now. So I would do research and bring him to places I’m sure he’s never been to. And just look at him and see he’s happy. πŸ™‚
For his — birthday, I first brought him to LAYA which I’ve already blogged about here, I gave him a big mosaic (picture of us) which we’ll be having framed, and another food trip in Tagaytay.
We left our home around 8:30am last April 5 and got to Tagaytay around 10:30am. Before checking in Andanita Taj (I’ll be blogging about it too.), we strolled Summit Ridge/Robinsons Tagaytay first. Then off to lunch at Hawaiian BBQ Grill. I’ve always dreamt of staying at The Boutique Bed and Breakfast. But it’s too expensive, so we ended up just eating there. :p

Our food…

Original Hawaiian Baby Back Ribs Medium P450
My husband and I both loved the baby back ribs. I thought it could use a little more sauce, being a saucey person. But according to H, it was just perfect. The meat was extremely tender. It had that salty and sweet right to the t. Will come back for it again!
Taal’s Own Tawilis P180
Another delicious dish. Honestly, when we eat tawilis it’s just the same taste. But I like that this is really crispy. This was a good appetizer!
Koka Chicken Half P280
Of the three, this was the least favorite. But it’s because all of the three were so yummy. Koka Chicken has a twist to your usual Lechong Manok. It has a ginataan flavor to it. Subtle enough to not overpower the food, but it definitely gives it a unique flavor. Yumyumyum!
Yes, we will definitely come back!!!!!!!!! πŸ™‚ Husband was so so happy after eating. :p
