Happy New Year! :)  I know I haven't been blogging that much, I've been quite busy with family gatherings and work. Normally, we get a lot of customers and we tend to get a lot busy during the holidays.

Anyways, here's another makeup tutorial which I think you can use for New Year celebrations. It's fairly simple and you can wear it during day time or night time if you want. It's a great look when you don't have time to change your makeup from day to night.

I was on my way out one day and I chose to wear a black top. I didn't want to go with my usual neutral look so I thought of wearing a little lilac and old rose on my lids.

This is the second look that I came up with for my back to back Christmas tutorial which is all about Christmas inspired looks or makeup. And since we're already talking about Christmas, my second look is basically using Christmas colors, green and red. I know a lot of people are scared of using bright colored eyeshadows and I think this look and makeup shows you that it's not so scary after all. :)

Close up of my eye makeup:

I believe that this look is very wearable. I'd wear it out or even during Christmas eve! :) Hope this helps! I enjoyed doing this back to back tutorial and I'll probably do another series next time. Ciao! And Happy Holidays everyone!
I am extremely excited to share with you something I worked on recently. Well since it's Christmas time, I decided to create a back to back Christmas tutorial. I wanted to do some Christmas inspired looks. I decided to use colored shadows on this series just because I felt that I already have a lot of neutral and natural looks. You can of course wear those looks too since they're very timeless anyways. :)

This is the first look that I came up with, I always hear people saying "It's a Blue Christmas for me." meaning no love life. Well, here's a makeup look that will surely turn heads. :) I have always felt that blue eyeshadow gives perfect contrast to brown eyes and I have always loved wearing a "tame" blue shadow.

Actually this was the same day as the Snoe Beauty Bloggers Event & Bloggers United Bazaar. So yes, this is the makeup tutorial I promised. :) I hope you liked the look.
I guess you may already have guessed what this blog is going to be! It’s all about Airbrush Makeup, specifically using the Glambox Airbrush System! 🙂

I was sent the system to use and it’s honestly a great system to have especially for makeup artists. Airbrush basically means that makeup is being sprayed to the skin instead of using a brush or sponge. This means no lines or streaks, just flawless smooth coverage.

Airbrush makeup is already being used by celebrities in movies, theater, tv and even in runway. But nowadays, you can find personal airbrush systems, like GlamBox Airbrush.

The kit comes with these tools aside from the products (i.e foundation, blush, etc.):

Compressor
Airbrush Gun (w/ accessories)
Gun holder
Adaptor
Airhose
DVD
Carrying Case

What makes GlamBox Airbrush different is how compact and light weight it is. I actually haven’t seen other systems as small as GlamBox. It’s so convenient to bring and so easy to use. Regular makeup can settle in the pores and foundation streaks may be visible, but with airbrush makeup, it only gives a natural looking coverage to the skin.
There are 3 modes. It’s recommended to use Medium for face makeup and High for body makeup. I don’t really put foundation on the body except if my client needs some coverage or to give her a nice glow or tan. This is perfect for it as it would give a natural looking finish.
The secret is in the gun!
Like what I mentioned in the video, pull the lever half way so it’s easier to control the product that comes out. The pen type gun is also light weight by the way! Hooray! 🙂
I made a demo on how to use the system to apply foundation, contour, blush and highlight:
Here are some photos to show you the result. I actually received a lot of “oohs and ahhs” with this look. When I went to the grocery, a gay guy actually commented how flawless my skin looked. I was giggling inside, thinking it’s just airbrush makeup. Haha! 🙂
This is one of the most requested techniques and makeup by brides because of how natural it looks on the skin. Don’t I look like a happy and blooming bride? Haha!

GlamBox has different packages for personal and professional use. You can visit their website at www.glamboxairbrush.com for more details on the packages. And don’t worry, expect more tutorials using the GlamBox Airbrush System. 🙂

Time for another review! :) This is actually a late blog post since I have already uploaded my video review 1 million years ago. Haha! But I have just gotten the time to blogging about it now.

Beauty Credit Lovely Q10 Liquid Foundation Mat
in #21 Nude Beige

I purchased this together with other beauty products during our Subic trip. I rarely use liquid foundation but I just couldn't resist not getting it since it was really inexpensive (around P300+) and I wanted to try their matte foundation.

I got the #21 shade even though I got #23 for my powder foundations because surprisingly they didn't match. The #23 shade was darker than my skin tone and definitely darker than #23 powder that I got. The tester was my savior!

I also love the emblem and packaging!

It also has a lock so the product won't spill.

The shade is perfect for me. Once I put it on, it actually matches my skin perfectly. Amazing! :) The coverage is light to medium. It's great for everyday wear if you wear liquid foundation everyday. Like what I mentioned, I recommend this to everyone for that "just right coverage".

As for the matte finish and as for oil absorption, as seen in the video, I didn't have to retouch and I remained oil free maybe for about 6 hours. I would still need to reapply powder or use a better makeup primer to control my oil for a long wearing foundation.

For me, this is a very good foundation. I have worn this in a couple of events I attended to that I didn't need too much coverage and it has never failed me. :) And did I mention it's so affordable too? What more can you ask for, right?
