I have been using a lot of different products lately and I'm glad that more and more brands are stepping out of their comfort zones. I admit that I'm not as adventurous now as I was before but lo and behold, I still discover really fantastic finds every now and then!
One of which is Belo Intensive Whitening BB Cream. I actually got this from Sample Room. They say that this product truly gives the complete benefit of intensive whitening and sun protection and that it delivers instant flawless no makeup look as your skin whitens over time.
When I first received it, I wasn't that excited. It took me awhile before actually using it because I guess you already know, I'm not a big fan of BB creams. But I really wanted to try this out because of it has SPF50 PA+++. And here in the Philippines, the sun is always out and it's been so hot that higher SPF is definitely a must.
The shade that I got is Medium to Deep, and let me tell you I was actually really scared it won't work on my skin tone because I usually use Light-Medium shades. Upon application, I got pretty scared but when it blended, it seem to have blended well.
It has tone correcting properties that evens out skin tone and conceals skin imperfections like scars, fine lines and even wrinkles. It also has the power of Kojic Acid and Tranexamic Acid that improves skin clarity, whitens complexion and reduces appearance of stubborn dark spots, over time.
I listed this as one of my favorites this 1st quarter because I just couldn't find anything that I don't like about it. I liked it that much that I even recommended it to my sister who was having such a hard time finding a foundation that suits her.
It gives me light coverage but it does really well in evening out my skin tone and even covering the redness around my face. It's light weight too so it's really comfortable on the skin.
I personally still prefer wearing a primer underneath or setting it with powder just to remove any possible greasy feeling (not that it has) and to keep my oiliness at bay. It has a slight dewy finish so keep that in mind if you don't finish it with some powder. Also, because it's light coverage, I still have to conceal my undereyes as well.
It is only P350 for a tube and it will last a long time given that a small amount is good enough to coverage the entire face. I feel like this is a great everyday BB cream when you don't want to think about what you're going to use or when you want a "grab and go" product. :) I highly recommend for you to try it out yourself and let me know if it worked amazing on you just like myself.
