I attended Cream Silk’s Double Up On Beauty event a few weeks ago and I was able to learn a few beauty tips from beauty experts of the Philippines.
Sarah Meier hosted the event and as always she looked stunning and her hair was so luscious and shiny! Want to know how? She uses Cream Silk, of course!
Cream Silk, the country’s No.1 conditioner, has noticed that we, Filipinas have become more adventurous in styling our hair. We’ve gone from cutting it to curling it to straightening and coloring it. Hair styling has grown into something as easy and as frequent as wardrobe changing. With this ever evolving moves, the threat of damaging and having dry hair has become more apparent.
So Cream Silk brings us Cream Silk Daily Treatment Conditioner to combat just that. Packed with two times more nutrients, Cream Silk Daily Treatment Conditioner combines the intensive care of a treatment and the smoothness from a conditioner in one, giving Filipinas two times more smoothness and shine, no matter what look she’s sporting.
Cream Silk’s Double Up on Beauty campaign sounds truly interesting. Well, the brand actually collaborated with four top beauty experts to share their insider tips on taking your look from good to great.
The team composed of Agoo Bengzon, Peewee Reyes-Isidro, Rissa Mananquil-Trillo, and Raymond Santiago who shared their recommended must-haves and double-up beauty secrets.
Agoo Bengzon is one of the fashion and beauty industry’s most-trusted experts. A beauty editor for 15 years, Agoo shares that her experience has forced her to dye her hair almost every color imaginable. This is why she knows first-hand that along with the excitement of getting your hair treated comes the responsibility of taking care of it after. “Double up your beauty by using products that work twice as hard, like Cream Silk Daily Treatment Conditioner.” As an additional beauty tip, Agoo says “I also use a reliable eyebrow powder and liquid eyebrow liner to create full brows to frame the face when I want to take my look from good to great.”
Peewee Reyes-Isidro has been in the fashion industry for 13 years and counting, currently sitting as the Editor-In-Chief of Mega Magazine. Peewee gave her pro advice for a sticky fashion situation: How to double up your look when someone is wearing the same outfit. Her say? Be resourceful and revamp your clothes using accessories that you already have, “Double up your beauty by complementing beautiful hair, with an accessory like a skinny scarf. Tie it around your waist and use it as a belt, or use it as an accent by wearing it like a choker.”
Rissa Mananquil-Trillo, a former model, mom, beauty columnist, and owner of local makeup brand Happy Skin is also part of Cream Silk’s beauty experts. Among the experts, she’s tagged as the “Girl Boss,” as she is known for being the woman who stays on top of her game, all while looking great. To double up on beauty at the office she thinks, "Pair your long and beautiful hair with a lip & cheek mousse that works doubly hard to treat both your lips and cheeks with a long-lasting, velvety color!” says Rissa.
Raymond Santiago is the genius behind the most fabulous hairstyles of some of the brightest stars in Philippine showbiz, including Cream Silk World Class Filipina, Anne Curtis. Working with celebrities every day, Raymond shared that he witnesses how much constant styling can really damage the hair. “Doubling up your beauty can be as simple as letting your hair down. I always recommend a great conditioner that works twice as hard to rescue your dry hair.” he said.
Raymond also showcased his talent. He did some hair styling and explained to us how to recreate the look.
And as for my beauty tip? Double up on beauty by mixing using loose powder or mineral foundation and mix it with your favorite sunscreen and instantly get a tinted moisturizer that has SPF! It makes life so much easier and even cheaper. Use your customized tinted moisturizer with SPF on days that you don't need much coverage! ;)
