Burt’s Bees Facial Cleansing Towelettes

There are some makeup products that I don’t fall in love with right off the bat. I’m sure some of you are the same. Some of these products I tend to just keep or others I actually just give away. This is a similar situation with Burt’s Bees Facial Cleansing Towelettes.
When I received it, I wasn’t that ecstatic. Main reason is because I rarely use cleansing towelettes as I still prefer cleansing my face with cleanser and water. I just feel like my face is never clean enough when I just use wipes. Then I decided to give it a go and it still didn’t wow me right away and so I ended up keeping it. Until I started doing more videos on my Youtube channel. I usually do beauty tutorials and whatnots so I would have to put on a lot of makeup on my face. But at the end of the day, if I’m just staying home, I still prefer not wearing anything and just being bare face. That’s where these facial cleansing towelettes come into play! Everytime I want to just rid off my face with traces of makeup, this is what I use. I also just put a little amount of eye makeup remover to the towelette and it works perfect for my eye makeup.

Experience our best face wipes for all skin types. Remove make-up, cleanse and tone in one easy step. Infused with vitamin-rich White Tea, calming Cucumber plus soothing Aloe, pamper yourself with our make-up remover wipes. Thanks to our handy natural facial cleansing towelettes you can give your skin the care it needs no matter where you are.

  • Removes dirt, oil and make-up without rinsing
  • Formulated with White Tea and Cucumber Extract
  • Dermatologist-tested and Ophthalmologist-tested
  • FSC certified, natural cloth
  • What I LIKE:
    • It melts off my makeup easily and effectively.
    • It works even with liquid foundation and lipsticks (which are pretty hard to remove without cleansing oils)
    • thickness of wipe. It’s pretty tough so it doesn’t easily tear.
    • no need to rinse off and even tone
    • 99.1% natural! Hooray!
    What I DON’T LIKE:
    • stinging sensation (especially the first few times I used it.)
    • price tag is P495.00. There are cheaper alternatives, but I don’t know how good those work.
I like that it’s so easy to remove my makeup. It’s also very compact and travel friendly. I still cleanse my face with a facial cleanser at the end of the day, but hey, that’s just the OC me. ๐Ÿ™‚ I mentioned a stinging sensation too. I did feel a stinging sensation the first few times that I used these towelettes. But I think that’s just my skin adjusting to it. Because now, my skin is fine. I don’t get those stinging feeling anymore even around my eye area.
I have been using Burt’s Bees Facial Cleansing Towelettes almost everytime I film. As a matter of fact, there have been times when I was just extremely lazy to remove my makeup the traditional way (makeup remover, cleanser, toner) that I just use 1 cleansing towelette then slap on my moisturizer then sleep. ๐Ÿ˜‰ So if you are like me who wants a 1-step makeup cleanser, you might want to try this product out.
