Cute Alert at Japan Home!

Hi everyone, I know this is a little random but because we've been going to several stores to buy stuff for our new place, I stumbled upon these cute keychains from Japan Home.

We bought a couple of stuff from Japan Home. It's a store that sells stuff for only P66 or P88 only. You gotta check that store out if you haven't gone there yet. It's similar to U.S.A.'s Diaso and another similar local store is Saizen. And we also got these keychains for my hubby and I.

I have always liked Mickey Mouse and this specific drawing/look of Mickey Mouse reminds me of my hubby. I think it's because of the shape of his head. While H thinks that I look like Winnie the Pooh. Haha! Unfortunately, there was no Pooh keychain so I got the Minnie Mouse one instead.

 Hooray for Matchy Matchy! :p

Anyways, I actually gave this to my hubby as a birthday present. Yes, we're now in the stage of our relationship that we don't look at price tags but the sentimental value of our gifts. We've always been practical givers or at least I have.  Haha!

What are your cute finds from these Japanese stores? I've been hearing about the charcoal masks from Saizen, I haven't tried it yet though. I'm a little scared of trying out their skin care or makeup products. I think I'm not that confident yet so I would need a little bit more convincing. Hehe! :)

Travel Vlog: Roxas City

I'll be leaving again this week then I realized that I haven't posted my Roxas City travel vlogs here yet.

H and I went to Roxas City, Capiz for a much awaited vacation. It was actually my first time to go on a domestic flight and I was pretty excited. Obviously, it's my first time to go to Visayas as well. H wanted to go to Roxas City because he learned that it's the seafood capital of the Philippines. He has been craving for seafood nonstop and when he researched, he found out that the seafood in Roxas is very cheap. So it was a good thing that we were able to get seat sale and flew to Roxas.

Coincidentally, it was also CapizTahan when we visited Roxas. It's basically a fiesta or a big party. There was a seafood festival, parade of lights and fireworks! We didn't know that there will be a fiesta when we bought our tickets but looking back, it's a good thing that there was an event because there were more activities to do.

DAY 1: Gaisano Mall & Baybay Beach - April 12, 2012

DAY 2: Urban Manor Hotel & Seafood Festival - April 13, 2012

DAY 3: San Antonio Resort - April 14, 2012

DAY 4: Going Home! - April 15, 2012

Hope you guys enjoyed the videos! Don't forget to subscribe to my youtube channel for more videos and be updated when I have new vlogs and videos! :)

7 Deadly Sins of Beauty Tag

Hey guys, here's the most recent tag video that I did. I tag you! :)

GREED
What is you most inexpensive beauty item? What is your most expensive one?

Careline Lipgloss
Most Inexpensive

I bought the Careline lipglosses because I felt that it was a pretty gude dupe for MAC Lipgelee. In fact, it's quite opaque so I don't need to wear any lipstick underneath. The gloss itself is already really good.

 JML Wet Straight Pro
Most Expensive

Chanel Lipstick
Most Expensive

As for my most expensive, it's either my JML straightening iron or my Chanel lipstick. I bought the JML iron a few years ago when I decided to venture on hairstyling as well and I've also used it on myself and I do like it a lot. As for my Chanel lip color in Motive, I just liked the color a lot. I haven't used it yet though. Still waiting for a special occasion to use it. :)

WRATH
What beauty products do you have a love/hate relationship with?

Ilog Maria Honey, Beeswax and Propolis Lip Balm

Basically, I love the moisturizing effect and the minty feel but I hate the scent! It smells like medicine. :(

GLUTTONY
What are your most delicious beauty products?

Ilog Maria Honey, Beeswax and Propolis Lip Balm
Delicious Taste

It tastes sweet and minty! I really like the taste that I find myself licking my lips from time to time when I wear this. Haha!

San San Hydrating Color Dew Lipstick
Delicious Scent

I've mentioned this before, it smells really yummy. It smells like candies from your birthday cakes and cocoa butter. Love love the scent!

SLOTH
What beauty product do you neglect due to laziness?

White Result Exfoliating Gel

One of the most important skin care regimen is exfoliating and as much as possible it's best to exfoliate twice a week to remove all the dead skin cells and for that smooth, soft and new skin to show up. But just like any other person, I also get lazy and neglect this step.

PRIDE
What beauty product gives you the most self confidence?

Avon Simply Pretty Concealer Stick in Beige

I feel like my eyebags are just very prominent especially when I didn't get enough sleep. It's just so dark so I always make sure that I apply concealer on them. Of course when I have pimples or zits, I also want to hide them a little by dabbing on a little concealer.

LUST
What attributes do you find most attractive in the opposite sex?

It has to be sense of humor. Making your partner laugh makes the relationship not redundant and not plain. H and I have been together for 10 years and I feel like it's because he has a great sense of humor and we enjoy each other's company. Physically, I like clean cut, boy next door men. I'm not really into the bad boy image. I have always preferred neat looking guys. :p

ENVY
What items would you most like to receive as a gift?

I think I would want clothes, shoes or accessories. Because I only buy them if I need to, I don't have a lot coz I'm kinda lazy when it comes to shopping for clothes or shoes. Haha!

I hope you enjoyed the tag and I hope you'll join too! Send me a URL if you also did this tag so I can see your answers too. :)

3rd Pyromusical Competition

This post is extremely late but I initially didn't think that I'll blog about it until now. I was browsing photos in my laptop and stumbled upon my folder entitled Dad's Bday. If you are subscribed to my youtube channel, you probably have watched my Pyromusical Competition vlog. It was also the same day as my dad's birthday. And since he is a big fireworks fan, he invited us to watch the Pyromusical Competition with him.

We had to make a reservation 2-3 weeks prior to the date because restaurants are always booked during the competition dates. My parents decided on Abe. I thought, hey, I've eaten there once (in their Serendra branch) and it's not so bad.

Then they handed us this menu. Yes it's a paper menu and guess what! They only had 1 copy of the menu. It's actually pretty funny now. Anyways, there were only 2 set menu choices. Oh btw, tickets were P1,500 each inclusive of the set menu and 1 round of drinks.

We were quite restless waiting for the competition to start. It was my first time to watch this kind of competition I was anxious to see what they have in store for us. That time, it was Australia vs Canada. Did you know that Canada actually won? Good thing I was able to watch it! :)

Here are some snapshots of the fireworks I was able to capture:

Overall, obviously I enjoyed! Even though the food was no good, I was with great company and the event was fantastic! I remember seeing fireworks when we went to Roxas City and apparenly it was nothing compared to the ones we saw during the Pyromusical competition.

I would want to watch it again and I do feel like you really pay for the show and not the food. I think I'm like my dad in this case, I also appreciate the beauty of the lights! :) I also know that the country puts the best men and really spends a lot just to make sure they deliver the best that they can for the competition.

So now I wonder, how about you? Will you be willing to spend P1,500 for a show like this?

Oh and just in case you missed it, I was nominated as Top Female Online Entrepreneur by AVA. I would greatly appreciate it if you vote for me by liking this photo. :) Thanks in advance and please spread the good news!

Life & Other Things

So this is going to be a little personal post. Just wanted to let you all know that I'm still here. ;) I know I haven't had time to blog again, I've just been so caught up with so many things lately so I wanted to share with you what's been up with me.

First thing is we just recently moved to our new place last April 27. Well we didn't move permanently, we're still staying at our house but our new place was finally turned over to us so we now spend some days there. It's the major reason why I have become so busy because I have to check and oversee the work that's still need to be done (finishing touches).

I was asked by my husband to take over the home repairs etc. so obviously, that's a lot of work especially for an O.C. and very detailed person as myself.

We also decided on getting a new pet for our new place. H and I kept thinking of a nice centerpiece that really symbolizes us and since I didn't like a flower centerpiece and he didn't like candles, we decided on getting a fish. As always, having a pet means more responsibility and another activity to juggle.

Since it's the summer, my family also took advantage of the time to bond. We invited them to our new place for some quality time. And if you know me, you'd know that nothing is more important to me than my family.

If you follow me on twitter, I mentioned there that I went to Baguio. We stayed there for 3 days. I'm a little sad because it rained during our stay, but it was such a great change in weather since Manila's been extremely hot these past month.

And now that I'm back, I have to continue overseeing the workers to finish everything in our new place. Yes, it's still not completely done yet. Also, I will be out of the country next week. Don't worry I plan to vlog during that trip since I wasn't able to during my Baguio trip. :)

I do hope that when I get back, all of you are still there. I plan to do video marathons when I return because hopefully by then, I'd be able to set up my vanity and my little filming space at home. I just can't do that yet right now because of the unfinished work that still needs to be completed.

So that is it. Oh, all of these photos are taken from my Instagram. So if you have one, do follow me (yellowyum). I use it regularly and I'm really addicted to it! :D That is it for today! Before I go, I want to greet all the mothers a very Happy Mothers Day! :) You deserve a round of applause for bringing us up the way we are now! *clap clap clap*
