Loreal Matrix with Bianca Manalo
Matrix was founded by a hairdresser, Arnie Miller, who understood what it really meant to be a hairdresser- to create images that changed people’s lives. It's made affordable for professional beauty salons. Matrix, being a part of Loreal's family, introduces thier first-ever local endorser- Bb. Pilipinas Universe 2009, Celebrity, Model, and Host, Bianca Manalo.
The press conference was held at Loreal Academie in Ortigas. I was surprised to see a familiar face, Elise, who was a management trainee in Matrix and who also happens to be the sister of my former blockmate.
While waiting for the program to start, Jes and I took some photos of our vain selves. :p
The event was hosted by MJ Felipe who did such a great job making the event as lively as possible. I really give chops to event hosts. It's not always easy to please the crowd. I applaud them for their hard work. :)
Wilmer Cu, project manager of Loreal Matrix introduced to us the brand and its history. He told us that Matrix was introduced in the Philippines in 2005. It is already available in 54 countries with over 160,000 salons.
Matrix provides us Filipinos quality products that are safe and are easy to use. Their products are tailor made for Filipinos' hair and are based on what we need and what we want.
An advanced hot oil hair care treatment
Range of fashionable hair colorants
Safe formaldehyde-free smooth rebonding system
Matrix welcomes Bianca Manalo as their first Filipino endorser. She is a true Filipina beauty. Not only is she gorgeous, tall and talented, she is also super nice! Bianca represents he values of Loreal Matrix, connected, daring and dynamic and always radiating positive energy.
Bianca admits that she uses all of the products of Matrix. She even uses Sensoria every night and thanks Wonder Brown Mocha 7 for her hair color.
Matrix gives high priority and importance to education. They equip hairdressers with not only the best products but also the best professional education. Not only do they have an academy, the Loreal Academie in Ortigas, they also have a mobile salon caravan. Because of this mobile salon on wheels, they are able to travel nationwide and bring education to the hairdressers. This makes professional education more accessible to hairdressers all over the Philippines.
Jes and I were also lucky to have met Ms. Evelyn Cruz, the president of Hair Asia. Take note that Hair Asia's exhibit is this month! More information about that to follow. :)
