Bangkok: Dusit Zoo (Khao Din)

Like I mentioned before, I went to visit H in Thailand. He was there for his training. I landed October 13 almost 12 midnight and was so happy to finally see hubby. We spent the next day doing chores, giving pasalubong to his classmates and friends, and come October 15, it was time for us to go to someplace new.

Since we're both animal lovers, he arranged for us to go to Dusit Zoo a.k.a. Khao Din. It was a little far from his place in Ramkhamhang. The taxi fare was about 100+ thb. There was an entrance fee of 100 thb for tourist adult.

We also saw a show. Entrance fee was 30 thb. It was okay, nothing different from what we’ve seen before in the Night Safari, Singapore. But I always enjoy these shows. I feel like a kid getting all giddy when I watch these shows.

He took out the snake from the bottom of the bench.
Look at the boy! Scared for his life? Hehe.

This cute boy was so brave. He didn’t even twitch when the snake was put around his neck. If it was me, I would die!

We weren’t able to take a lot of photos because it was raining a little but luckily it rained when we were almost finished touring the zoo. We just ate first at KFC to let the rain subside a little more.

I wasn’t able to take photos of the food either because I was already hungry. *peace* It’s just the same, though in Thailand, they don’t serve gravy with the chicken. I know!!!! It’s not right noh? But I love that the chicken is really very tender. I think it’s even more tender than ours here in the Philippines. The meat literally breaks off easily when you cut it.

I didn't get to see the elephants because we were running out of time since H has planned another place to go to. But it was a nice experience.
